Brake Hose

Product description
Automotive brake hoses (commonly known as brake hoses) are an important part of a vehicle's braking system, and their role in the braking system is to transmit the brake fluid. It is responsible for transferring brake fluid from the vehicle's master cylinder to the wheel cylinder (in drum brakes) or caliper (in disc brakes) to ensure that the braking force is transmitted to the wheels when the vehicle is braking. Automotive brake hoses are divided into hydraulic brake hoses, pneumatic brake hoses and vacuum brake hoses of three types, the material is generally divided into rubber brake hoses and nylon brake hoses (passenger cars mostly use hydraulic brake hoses) in normal use, need to go to the regular inspection of the use of the situation.

Product introduction

1. Rubber hose:

five-layer compilation structure, the main material structure is

(EPDM+PET+NBR+PET+EPDM) vulcanized, the outermost layer is made of EPDM EPDM rubber; the second layer is made of PET nylon, a synthetic fiber material; the third layer is made of NBR nitrile rubber, a copolymer made of acrylonitrile and butadiene monomer polymerization; the fourth layer is made of PET nylon, a synthetic fiber material; the innermost layer is made of EPDM EPDM rubber. EPDM. The fifth compiled layer provides good braking performance and can operate over a wide range of temperatures and pressures.

Joints: high quality steel joints and excellent plating performance for maximum corrosion resistance (both galvanised and zinc-nickel alloy plating coating are available), not easy to dislodge, metal environmental protection plating appearance, not easy to corrode.

2. Brake hose joints

l Ball end construction: Connects to the caliper end and is sealed by an over-oil bolt and gasket connection.

l Inner wire structure: connects to the hard brake pipe.

l Outside wire structure: connected to the caliper end, can be directly connected to the caliper.

l Square end of hard hose: connects to the caliper end and is sealed by means of an oiling bolt and gasket connection.

l Intermediate joint: joint where the brake hose assembly is connected to the bodywork.

l Sheath: To prevent friction between the assembly hose and the moving parts of the bodywork, generally additional sheaths are required for relative limit sizes less than 15mm.

l Metal bracket: The metal part of the brake hose assembly that connects to the bodywork.

l Dust cap: protects the threads and prevents dust from entering the interior of the assembly.

Product design and machining process.

1. Processes:

Hose&tube Cutting - Chamfering - End Forming - Tube Bendng - Welding - Assemblying - Proof Pressure Test - Final Inspection-Packing

2. The production process of the hose

3. Production process of rubber brake hose assembly

The products are strictly tested during production, 100% checking of screw threads and air tightness before going off the line to ensure that each product can be assembled and does not leak oil.

The size of the product is designed according to the specifications of the original parts, which makes installation safer and replacement more convenient.

Product advantages

1. The five-layer compiled structure of the rubber hose has excellent oil resistance, high and low temperature resistance, high wear resistance, oxidation resistance, not easy to crack, good flexibility, resistance to bursting, high tensile strength, stable braking performance, etc.

2. After four full inspections: 100% inspection after plating to ensure that the dimensions of the product as well as the plating performance meet the requirements; 100% inspection after welding to ensure the quality of welding, no sand holes, leakage welding, etc.; 100% pressure setting to ensure the throughput of the product; 100% final inspection to ensure the factory performance of the product.

3. The products comply with the following international standards.

SAE J1401/FMVSS106/GMW3056/GB16897

Maintenance tips

There is no fixed replacement time or mileage for brake hoses, as long as there is ageing or leakage, they should be replaced. It is recommended that brake hoses be replaced every 30,000-60,000 km or every two years.

The following points should be noted in general:

1. Check regularly and keep the surface of the brake hose clean to avoid corrosion.

2. Avoid pulling by external forces.

3. Diligently check whether the brake hose joints are loose and poorly sealed.

4. Long-term use of brake hoses, such as found to have aging, cracking, oil seepage or scratch phenomenon, to be replaced in a timely manner.
